Application Procedure

 

Application Deadline: 6 March 2017

For an application to be processed the following items have to be provided by 6 March 2017: 

  • Application form (click to download) 

  • Statement of purpose 

  • A letter of recommendation from your advisor or language instructor

  • Application fee of US$50

Application form, letters and the document of transfer may be faxed or e-mailed. Notification of admission will be mailed by 10 April 2017.

All applicants, including those who have applied for financial support from their home universities or other sources, are expected to submit an application form to the Turkish Language and Culture Program by the application deadline. Note that a limited number of classes to be offered this summer may necessitate a stricter evaluation process.

 

! Attention: Late or incomplete applications, as well as applications without the application fee will not be processed.

PAYMENT Deadlines

 

8 May 2017       Non-refundable downpayment of                                        US$500 for program tuition and

                           US$250 for residence at Uçaksavar.

5 June 2017      Rest of payments

 

! Attention: In case of delay of payment, there will be a surcharge of 10%.

 

Fees

 

Application fee : $50

Tuition fee : $4150 (course material fees and VAT are included)

Accommodation:

Uçaksavar Dorm : $600 (subject to change)

Superdorm :$850 (+$150 deposit > click for details)

 

! Please note that:

  • All payments must be made by bank transfer and in US$ only.

  • Document of each transfer must be faxed or e-mailed.

  • All bank fees incurred during transfer are to be met by the applicants. (Some banks make international transfers through intermediary banks and this results in fees being cut off from the original amount sent.)
